Artist Statement

I am a visual artist and painter studying Visual Arts at Zayed University. Art has always been part of my life, influenced by two of my aunts who were artists. After one of them passed away, continuing to make art became a way for me to honor her and keep the creative spirit of my family alive.

For me, art is closely connected to memory, emotion, and personal experience.

My work focuses on small details and quiet moments that carry strong emotions. I am inspired by observing my surroundings and noticing things that others might overlook. I mainly work with painting, including oil, acrylic, and watercolor, along with drawing and sometimes photography. My process usually begins with a feeling, memory, or observation, allowing the artwork to develop slowly and naturally.
